There was grumbling from our refs about unioinizing! We had moved our court of play out of the main market corridor years ago as the crush of the crowds had interfered with market booths access. By 2001 the Curl has become a well-oiled machine. We have seen much larger crowds at market at a time of year when customers were often scarce…many coming specifically for the curl! This was our first year with somewhat official medal stands and an expanded sound system playing Olympic tunes when appropriate. What an extravaganza! 12,000 B.C.

The results this year were needless to say much debated and the subject of much discussion. The youngster who won, Artemis Inzinnia, was unable to make any comments about her victory.
