Stitchin' Therapy: Making scraps
http://stitchintherapy.blogspot.com/2015/08/making-scraps.html
Tutorial Design a Watercolor Quilt. Thursday, August 6, 2015. Instead of tossing my scraps- -leftover strips, binding, and a few hunks- -into the scrap bin last week, I set them aside. At week's end, this is what I had! A little more stitching on the table runner. This is a corner. It is an awkward shape to fill in. So once the small feather reached the narrow section, I added a swirl at the top with an extra outline. I like the look of this. Yep, that sounds about right.I was always the one who did ...

Bread baking to follow, and bringing out the seasonal decor. So when this little fellow popped up on my screen, I immediately followed the link from FaveQuilts to SewCanShe blog. Stitchin' Therapy: July wrap-up
http://stitchintherapy.blogspot.com/2015/08/july-wrap-up.html
Tutorial Design a Watercolor Quilt. Saturday, August 1, 2015. July is a wrap.with some finishes! That's a good thing. The small block Carolina Chain was done in floral fabrics with batik accent squares. The border was any leftover small pieces framed with a dark batik. I love the striking effect it created along with the center shimmer. The rail fence variation was pieced and bordered.finally. It's up for quilting next month. August 1, 2015 at 5:24 PM. A very productive July. August 1, 2015 at 9:41 PM.

Donna's Den: October 2009
http://donnahodgson.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Quilting, sewing, golfing and a bit of life added in. Tuesday, October 6, 2009. Ok, I'm back on track thanks to Cindi last night. Apparently, there is a nice EYELET in my sweater now. Well, not exactly. But you know what I mean. I will have to do a repair job when I go to block the sweater. But that won't be until I'm done (har har). I'm hoping it disappears before I get to that point. Needless to say, I'm sitting next to Cindi on the plane. Will keep her busy all on my lonesome! Mix up our projects, no?

Donna's Den: March 2009
http://donnahodgson.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Quilting, sewing, golfing and a bit of life added in. Sunday, March 29, 2009. Yesterday I was at my local quilt shop and saw this pattern. I *had* to have it. My g/f working there asked how much I would charge her for making. This wallet. I said I would only charge her the cost of the pattern. After all, I *had* to have it, remember? So, I went home and sewed this one up for myself out of some batiks I had in my stash. Links to this post. Saturday, March 28, 2009. Last weekend a good friend told me about...
