Why Quantum Physicists Don't Get Fat by Gregory Kuhn. Posted by Camille Lee Rodriguez. Saturday, March 23, 2013. I picked up this book because I was curious. Quantum physicists don't get fat? What made them so special that they don't get fat and us non-physicists did? Don't they live in the same plane as we do? I loved how, instead of looking at outward factor...

Movie Reviews by DC: Oz, the Great and Powerful
http://moviereviewsbydc.blogspot.com/2013/03/oz-great-and-powerful.html
Movie Reviews by DC. Monday, March 11, 2013. Oz, the Great and Powerful. Shiny World of Oz story about greatness and goodness. No Dorothy here, but Kansas and witches a-plenty. I got a nice happy feeling after the movie, but it feels lacking in substance. I like the black and white motifs, and the modern-ish reactions of the characters. Lastly: Too much Edison love, what about TESLA. Rating: 4 / 5 (because it's purty. Watched March 10, 2013). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Movie Reviews by DC.

Movie Reviews by DC: Frankenweenie (2012)
http://moviereviewsbydc.blogspot.com/2013/04/frankenweenie-2012.html
Movie Reviews by DC. Monday, April 8, 2013. Typical dark and mysterious film by Tim Burton. I love the little references here and there (Van Helsing, Persephone, V. Frankenstein), and it kept me on the edge of my seat. ("What were you doing boys? I love the nutty maniacal science teacher ("They like what science gives them but not the questions. That's what makes you a scientist."), and the quirky characters were interesting in their own right (Mr. Whiskers! Watched March 20, 2013). Movie Reviews by DC.
