That name reminds me how Holly got transferred to Nashua because she was having an affair with Michael. (The Office) Of course, that was a different Nashua. Friday, April 20, 2012. Friday in Windsor CT. I arrived at my final destination (well, for this trip that is) this morning. I met two helpful women who made me feel right at home. I was shown books and files that had data of my ancestor who crossed the Atlantic in 1630 and was in the group who established the first Connecticut town in 1633. Just look at all the goodies I got. Across the street stands the monument to the people who first came to this place. And here is his name, Deac. William Gaylord.

Friday, April 13, 2012. When I went to bed last night it was calm and the sky was full of stars. Six hours later there were low clouds from horizon to horizon, the wind was blowing, it was cold and raining. I enjoyed a nice complimentary continental breakfast of banana, raisin bagel and watery orange juice. It stopped raining and barely sprinkled the rest of the day - I was grateful. Sunday, September 13, 2009. My Head In The Clouds. I am still working on boxes in between my school visits, but have a long way to go. I still have not found the sheets for our bed. We are using the sheets we used before our last redecorating of the room. So we have green and rose sheets in a blue and burgundy room. Not pretty, but it works. I am also having to replace our window treatments since our old windows were wide and squat. Our new home has tall and thin windows so none of our curtains work.
