5 Streets Brighton and Hove. Friday, April 14, 2006. Western Road- the Real Patisserie. This place has been open for six months or so, maybe longer. It's only recently that I've started wandering up there on a Saturday morning, and it's a little slice of sophisticated French heaven. (Run by real French people, authenticity always helps). They sell Orangina in the proper dimpled glass bottles, freshly filled baguettes, chocolate gateaux which looks to die for. In short, it just has that. Je ne sais quoi.

Tuesday, June 19. Storefront shutter painted à la Vermeer. All the shutters along this street were painted in the style of a different artist - Gauguin, Klimt, Modigliani and more - unfortunately most have since been graffiti'ed over. Another of those 5streets-blogs. Tuesday, September 20, 2005. Street no 1, Hornsgatan. Inspired by so many other bloggers, I decided to start a 5streets-blog from my hometown, Stockholm, Sweden. That's where I grew up, that's where my heart is. I'm gonna write about my 5 favorite streets in the capital of Sweden, with love. But I must say though, that the very best parts of Hornsgatan is the beginning and the end, where you meet the water that surrounds Stockholm. What would I do without the water?
