Me, Myself, Irene. Thursday, April 30, 2009. Sharing Joys and Concerns. I have to share the sweet sweet story of one of my third graders today. So, every week in worship, we have a time where we share our joys and concerns and then we pray together. The younger kids especially love this time. Anyway, I told her that I'd definitely be praying and thanks for letting me know. She wrote, "Thanks Pastor Irene! So how are you? Do you have any joys or concerns? Just wanted to share that with you all today.

Me, Myself, Irene. Wednesday, June 17, 2009. I can't believe it's already the third week of June! This group of lovely youth and I will be headed out this Saturday, June 20-27th to Wind River, Wyoming on a youth mission trip with YouthWorks to a Native American Reservation to be in service for a week. We know that we will be working to repair homes, do yard work, etc. and work with their kids program they have going there. Keep us in your prayers! Anyway, it'll be a while before I update again! It's been a while, but my life has been consumed with VBS (Vacation Bible School) for the past few weeks in terms of prep and execution, but today was the last day! Me, Myself, Irene. Sunday, April 25, 2010. Sweet moments with a 2-year old. Tonight, I had the privilege of babysitting N and baby sister H while their parents finally had a night out together. I put N to bed and it was one of the sweetest moments I've experienced in a long time. This girl is so so sweet. she requires a certain routine when you go to bed. Me, Myself, Irene. Tuesday, June 8, 2010. 30, flirty, thriving. I am definitely NOT good about updating this site. But, I wanted to update with some great pictures from my 30th birthday weekend! It started out with my friends Jeanne and Joe flying in from Chicago to help me celebrate- and a day later, Tahir came into town! The HIGHLIGHT of my weekend (although overall, it was an incredible time), was that I went SKYDIVING over Monterey Bay! They are totally random, but encompass my birthday weekend well.

Me, Myself, Irene. Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Well, it's been a while. The easiest way to update a month of no updates is usually with pictures, so here goes! It started with post-holiday church madness with a trip home to Utah. It was the first time home since my ordination in 2008, so it was time. although I didn't get to see the extended family at Christmas and New Years, it was good to see my parents and some friends in mid-January. Finally, my friends Mannam and Stephen had their second daughter!
