I slept poorly the night before as one tends to do while jockeying for position in the bed between a husband and a baby. I woke to Asher, inches from my face, “Mom. Mom? Hey, mom. Are you awake? 8221; I am now, how would I ever wake without you? I did my domestic duties: washed little dishes, washed soiled sheets from the twins room, fed the vacuum more cereal than the kids eat. But yesterday, prompted by Asher, we made a cake.
