Accepting the Echo

In the end, we're all just an echo of our past experiences and people we've met throughout our lives. Monday, February 24, 2014. Well, apparently I didn't like the blogging thing very much since I never wrote anything after I "tried it out" again back in September. Oops. We did go on our trip to California and barely survived the beautiful bike ride (for real - it was HARD for people who are as out of shape as we are! Was standing right there. Accepting the Echo: February 2013

http://acceptingecho.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html

In the end, we're all just an echo of our past experiences and people we've met throughout our lives. Thursday, February 28, 2013. When I was growing up in the 1970's, Little House on the Prairie. Was going strong and I felt so proud to have grandparents who were farmers and who had lived that story. I even grew up in the town where the first homestead was filed under the Homestead Act of 1862. And I've visited several times throughout my life. What makes you want to leave this? To come to this? Nonsense...

Accepting the Echo: Wow, they finally finished the bike path!

http://acceptingecho.blogspot.com/2013/02/wow-they-finally-finished-bike-path.html

In the end, we're all just an echo of our past experiences and people we've met throughout our lives. Thursday, February 07, 2013. Wow, they finally finished the bike path! After we were awakened on Saturday morning with the news of our friend's death. We felt it would be appropriate to take a family bike ride in his honor that morning. As you may recall, the bike path has been under construction. No longer a tunnel to nowhere! Path from the golf course to the tunnel. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Accepting the Echo: Triathlon Training

http://acceptingecho.blogspot.com/2013/01/triathlon-training.html

In the end, we're all just an echo of our past experiences and people we've met throughout our lives. Wednesday, January 30, 2013. A couple of weeks ago, we got an e-mail from our YMCA informing us that there would be a free Kids Triathlon Training Program that would be offered for members this spring - which, for us here in Houston, is early February! Marxo's running abilities have also been a pleasant surprise. I expected her to whine and complain about doing this training, but it turns out that sh...

Accepting the Echo: September 2013

http://acceptingecho.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html

In the end, we're all just an echo of our past experiences and people we've met throughout our lives. Tuesday, September 24, 2013. Back in the Saddle. Quick update to see how I like this blogging thing again. We've been back in school now for 4 weeks. Marxo was sick for almost an entire week, but other than that, it has been fairly uneventful. We're in the last phases of design, then we'll move on to permitting, and hopefully, we'll be able to break ground by the end of the year. (crossing fingers).

Accepting the Echo: Something that made me laugh today

http://acceptingecho.blogspot.com/2013/05/something-that-made-me-laugh-today.html

In the end, we're all just an echo of our past experiences and people we've met throughout our lives. Thursday, May 09, 2013. Something that made me laugh today. I've been really busy at work lately, but thought I'd at least share this picture today. I'm working on a project that is for a big company who really takes employee safety seriously. It's nice, but this sign in the stairwell of our parking garage made me laugh this morning. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). One husband, one son. I Am Ted King.

Despite the bad wine and terrible food. Another year, another tree. The year of seeing. Ten days to ten. Just albanian →. April 21, 2015. I spotted Six immediately, but could not find Nine. Where was he? I looked and looked, and as a group of older kids meandered over to the deep pool where I was standing, about to dive in, a friend of Nine’s said. It was not in vain! Now it’s interminable grocery shopping, food preparation, cleaning up, then starting over again. We wear the same size shoe and trade shir...

Accepting Dad: Embracing Gender Variant Youth — A Father's Journey to Acceptance of his Gender-Nonconforming Son

Supportive Books & Media. Accepting Dad: Embracing Gender Variant Youth. A Father's Journey to Acceptance of his Gender-Nonconforming Son. Where We Are Now. January 19, 2014. Oscar’s manga heroes seldom smile; they look pensive, or downright disgusted. He started drawing males, for the first time ever, a few years back, and seems to draw them most frequently, now. They’re stylized in certain ways, with huge eyebrows, wide noses; they’re beautiful, too, like him, and also offbeat. Pangs of strange emotion?

About Me and This Blog. A blog advocating autism through my own personal experiences and insights. April 30, 2015. A counsellor I recently saw got me to see how joy and suffering co-exist and that you can’t have one with the other and gave an analogy of them as being two sides of the same piece of paper. It really got me thinking and made it easier for me to embrace everything in my life with a sense of adventure. I’m on a good adventure, which will surely continue. The Value of Femininity. Accepting Genesis

The Power of the book of Genesis lies in the fact that scientific truths are now being discovered from the text within. Concepts that just years ago seemed impossible to comprehend. Taking a scientific approach to Genesis allows us to understand and appreciate just how accurate Genesis is; we can then accept our future, and ask the bigger questions. 2012 brings to most, images of gloom and doom, death and destruction. Have you ever considered where these predictions originate? Could they be true?
