Thursday, July 23, 2015. Earl Grey Tea Ice-Cream. Here’s how I got on…. For this recipe I used…. 480ml milk, 480ml cream, loose tea (about four tea bags worth), 5 egg yokes, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 200g of sugar. This made two containers of ice-cream, one large and one small. Keep in mind the quantity of ice-cream that you need and the capacity of the ice-cream maker and alter the recipe. Place the mix into the fridge overnight to completely cool before you place it into the ice-cream machine.

Acorn to Oaks: March 2015

http://www.acorntooaks.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html

Sunday, March 29, 2015. With Easter preparations in full swing it was time to make the Easter nests for the string eggs. All you need is some cooking chocolate, shredded wheat and a bowl or bun cases. Here’s how I got on…. I used six shredded wheat pieces and two bars of cooking chocolate to make one large nest and three smaller nests. To make the larger nest I covered a cereal bowl in Clingfilm for the three smaller nests I used 3 different sizes of bun cases. Sunday, March 29, 2015. Here is how I got on.

Chocolate biscuit cakes are her favourite. So I was delighted to find this variation of the recipe. In the ICA Book of Home and Family. This cake is ideal for impromptu celebrations. There is also the option of giving it an extra little kick by adding a drop (or two) of baileys. Ireland h...

Acorn to Oaks: Tissue Art 2

http://www.acorntooaks.blogspot.com/2015/07/tissue-art-2.html

Sunday, July 19, 2015. With it being a year this month since I started this blog I decided to revisit one of my original posts, tissue art, and give it a try at home with a little twist. I realised that over the past year I had collected a vast amount of decorated napkins so I had a lot of choice for my design. Here’s how I got on. My second choice was much better and still complemented the purple orchid's. Sunday, July 19, 2015. July 20, 2015 at 12:33 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Acorn to Oak Ironman 2016. An unexpected journey within and beyond. The Price We Pay. December 21, 2016.
