A Cyclist and his Whisk. July 12, 2016. This sauce is as easy as it comes to battle the cold. As it is cold this time of year, shopping runs get fewer, or working days get longer, traffic gets worse and the hunger games persist. There is a lot you can do with a Bechamel Sauce. But its simply great on pasta. Or gnocchi’s. Or in a casserole. The list is nearly endless. I love it because I always seem to have these raw ingredients at hand (with the exception of butter, and thyme, and cheese, and milk).
