My own little world: June 2010
http://theresatolman.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 3, 2010. In April, my family did our sometimes annual MS Walk. We had a lot of fun and the babies did really well. After the walk, we went to the park for some frisbee. Whoa, hair (Ridge needs a haircut, but I love it long). We celebrated Max's 8th birthday with my family. Ridge and Waylon loved the pool, they didn't wait to put on swim clothes. Some of both of our families were able to attend. We are so proud of Max! This is how most of my pictures of Ridge turn out. Life as we know it.

Wednesday, January 27, 2010. This is Hanauma Bay, a nature preserve where we went snorkeling. You can see the coral in the water. Just feet off of the shore there are all kinds of fish swimming with you. We didn't see any turtles or Humuhumunukunukuapuaa (you know, Hawaii's state fish), but they are there also. This is a whale part, we saw a mother and baby whale on our. This is a nuclear submarine that we also saw on the whale watching tour. Rebecca and I at the Polynesian Cultural Center. Subscribe to:...

http://theresatolman.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 25, 2010. I am having these printed for the boys to hang in their room. I think it would be a fun way to remember each year. I made some word clouds describing the boys. The words I used are things they are interested in right now. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Life as we know it. The last 2 and half months. A Peek Into Our Life. A sample of winter. My own little world: October 2010
http://theresatolman.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 30, 2010. If this looks familiar, it's because they were the exact same things last year.We totally win the lame parents of the year award. Maybe next year we will actually think about costumes before Halloween's eve. I'm pretty sure Ridge won't fit into the lemur costume next year anyways. Thursday, October 28, 2010. Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Jason made this for his parents, they were thrilled. Tuesday, October 26, 2010. So, Kyler turned 11! Kyler's Arrow of Light Ceremony.

http://theshegruds.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 21, 2013. Today is Will's first birthday! Just before I started writing this post, Joel and I were browsing through some photos from our very first days in China and I can't believe how much little Will has grown since we've been here! This is the very first picture we took in China! We were SO tired after our long trip. But Will still looked happy and chipper. He's changed so much since then! This is a more current picture.:). So happy birthday my little boy! I can hardly believe the love ...

The Beijing Shegs: January 2013
http://theshegruds.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 14, 2013. Through the polluted haze. We live right in the center of this huge city and you can't even see the enormous buildings that are more than a block away. Everything is so gray and dreary. Ick Needless to say, we have been staying inside as much as possible this weekend! When we move back to the states, I will have so much more appreciation for clean, safe air to breathe. Friday, January 4, 2013. I had a big moment last week. I actually craved real Chinese food! Joel's school had t...

My own little world: December 2009
http://theresatolman.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 31, 2009. We went to the Discovery Center today and the boys had a blast! Sunday, December 27, 2009. We had a great Christmas this year! The boys and I went to Idaho Falls for a week to spend some time with Jason, and then celebrated Christmas day at Jason's parents house. Jason's sisters and their families were there and Ridge was way overwhelmed. He was completely out of his comfort zone for the entire week, but especially on Christmas day (such a baby, I know! Max in his new Snuggie!

My own little world: Utah
http://theresatolman.blogspot.com/2011/03/in-febuary-we-made-quick-trip-to-utah.html
Monday, March 21, 2011. In Febuary, we made a quick trip to Utah for Jason's grandma's 85th birthday. While we were there, we went to the Ogden Treehouse Museum, Ikea, Cabelas, the dinosaur museum, and ate at the Mayan. Kyler and Max had a blast, but it was a little much for Ridge. Turns out, Ridge doesn't like life sized dinosaurs. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Life as we know it. The last 2 and half months. A Peek Into Our Life. A sample of winter. A Trip to Washington!

The Beijing Shegs: Late night breathing problems
http://theshegruds.blogspot.com/2014/03/late-night-breathing-problems.html
Tuesday, March 25, 2014. Late night breathing problems. I am deep in the midst of a pity party this week. Spring is finally here and the weather is warm, but we've been mostly stuck inside because the air has been so unhealthy. Today, it's 70 degrees out but. Will and I only ventured out once (quickly! In our pollution masks to buy groceries. It's absolutely miserable to not be able to go out and enjoy these warm days with our little boy. Holding tight on the subway! The ultimate Smart Car. Yes i mean no.
