December 14, 2011. 2011 The year God did nothing. But bless our socks off! May we all continue to choose contentment in what God has done, is doing and will do, as we enjoy those around us and cherish the Life that we have in Him. Merry Christmas and Blessed New Year! Ben and Frances, both with Masters degrees and great experiences, came to join ADE. Owner of Economia, local grocery store, offered all ADE staff 15% discount on groceries! Van was donated another year from Korean businessman in San Jose.

January 26, 2012. After almost 2 years of planning, 6 students from Delaware County Christian School (DC), along with their teacher Señorita Ng and a chaperone, arrived here in Vara Blanca, Costa Rica at almost midnight on Tuesday, January 3rd for 9 days of Spanish Immersion through a partnership with ADE and some of our high school students. June 16, 2014. An interview with ADE High School's first graduate. Fabian was the first graduate of ADE Bilingual High School. He is currently staying with an ADE board member in Pennsylvania. Fabian gained a full scholarship to do ADE's 12th grade exchange program through a private Christian high school in Pennsylvania (Costa Rica's high school system runs through 11th grade.) He has just graduated and will return to CR shortly. 1 How did you know ADE and how were you involved with ADE?

ADE sold its organic blackberry jam and shakes at the annual Strawberry Festival, along with the annual strawberry jello-eating contest and strawberry war which aired on national tv. November 16, 2011. In English class Mr. Ben will be having the students do research projects about different English-speaking countries. Lastly, we will be requiring each of our students to do volunteer hours in the community from now on. (One student quickly responded that obligating volunteerism is inherently contradictory!
