Wednesday, January 19, 2011. It's unbelievable that in 12 months they've gone from speaking no English, to talking non-stop. And I mean, non-stop. Friday, September 16, 2011. Life Lesson in a Lost Tooth. This morning Bekeh was complaining at breakfast that her teeth were hurting. Usually this means she has something stuck and needs to floss, so when she finished up we headed to the bathroom. As soon as I inserted the floss, her front tooth wiggled like crazy. Aahh hhaaa! That's cool. Super Bekeh! How often do we behave the same way? We must celebrate and recall God's rescue and redemption more than we focus on the attack the enemy waged against us.

He struggles with his letters, we work til the cows come home and he still can't spell his name, but he knows every word to every song, except his name song, that we sing and listen to. First year no crops.

Not because we couldn’t have children biologically (although that would have been fine too), but because we see the tremendous blessing that is adoption! To tell you the truth, with the way things are trending, it might very well be 2 or 3 more years before we receive a referral. And not just one, but two babies! Baby DeFoe Adoption Process

You read that right! God has decided to bless us by giving us a baby through the natural process instead of through Adoption. We may not understand his timing, but we know that this is definitely a God thing! Read more details at my blog. What about the adoption? The adoption at this point is considered on hold.
