Keeping up with the Johnsons: Halloween Pictures
http://followingthejohnsons.blogspot.com/2012/11/halloween-pictures.html
Keeping up with the Johnsons. See what we've been up to since Nickolas came home from Russia. Sunday, November 4, 2012. He had a great time and started running when he realized he got candy at every house. His bucket got weighed down pretty quick but he wouldn't let me or my mom carry it. I think he managed to inhale four or five pieces of candy from the time we got home until I had his bath ready. Anyone who knows me knows he is definitely my son. I love anything chocolate! Here are Halloween pictures:.

Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Just in case we forgot, Kaluga is not like traveling to Phenix City! Man, Russia is a long way from Columbus! I woke up to sunshine, street noises, birds chirping, breeze through our open window (no a/c) and checked the clock. Almost 10! Man did I sleep well! It took me a while to realize but it was really 10 PM here! Why was the sun still up? I have been thinking and praying for him since we left in early March. Will he be ready for us, remember us, be excited or cautious? We miss...

Thursday, October 20, 2011. My battery is going to die soon on the computer, but I had a few minutes to myself and wanted to make a quick post. Vasa is doing great! I can't believe how much he is talking. Each day, he surprises me with a new phrase. Yesterday, for example, my mom walked off at stein mart and he said, "Gigi, come back! Listen, I wanted to shake him- you know this. Yes, you have 2 dogs that you love, and yes, you know their names- you talk about them constantly. Can't wait to see his face ...

Thursday, June 7, 2012. One of his sisters also told him about what a limousine was. Each week, he seems to know just a little bit more. He is very outgoing. He has to comment during any conversation- even if he knows nothing about the content. He is also in the 3 year old why stage. We must hear that word 75 times a day. One of yesterday's conversations- I say-we are going to swim today at the pool. Why? Because we have to pick them up. Ok, honey, let's head to the pool. V-why? You tell me why? I don't ...

http://followingthejohnsons.blogspot.com/2012/07/css-boys.html
Keeping up with the Johnsons. See what we've been up to since Nickolas came home from Russia. Saturday, July 28, 2012. Nick and I drove to Charlotte last week to meet up with some other CSS families. I was worried about keeping him entertained and driving, but he did great. It was 7.5 hours and he watched movies or played games on my tablet the entire way. How fun. Wish we lived close enough to drive to some of the reunion events but its nice to see the photos. Thanks for posting! July 29, 2012 at 4:56 PM.

Sunday, June 26, 2011. Don't chase the dog/don't run from the dog. We have had an adventurous few days at home. We got home on Wednesday night. The flight was on time and was pretty uneventful. Vasa played with his toys- some he liked better than others. He kept his seatbelt fastened and even slept a few hours, so we saw it as a success. He now knows, "come here, sabaka! Tuesday, June 21, 2011. So today started pretty much as usual. Way to early for me (with a 3 year old to chase all day I've been ne...

Keeping up with the Johnsons. See what we've been up to since Nickolas came home from Russia. Thursday, December 22, 2011. Party Like a Rockstar. Today was the Christmas Party at our babysitter's house. All of the kids wear their pj's, exchange gifts and eat junk food all day. Nickolas doesn't understand the concept of Santa, but he still had fun and he liked the Madagascar Penguin game and the pillow pet from the gift exchange. Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Keeping up with the Johnsons. See what we've been up to since Nickolas came home from Russia. Friday, June 15, 2012. I bet the toddler girls in my neighborhood are going crazy over the adorable lawn boy that I have. He loads and pushes the wheelbarrow and helps dump and spread the mulch. He also likes to take popsicle breaks and use the big boy potty every ten minutes, he occassionally likes to ride in the wheelbarrow, and also uses it for a Hot Wheel ramp. Good help is hard to find. Ohio, United States.

Keeping up with the Johnsons. See what we've been up to since Nickolas came home from Russia. Saturday, September 22, 2012. My bucket list is officially a little shorter since I can now cross full marathon off of it. Can I get a hallelujah? And "Did you have fun running? This marathon was also a fundraiser for some friends who are in the process of adopting domestically. Several people sponsored me so I was able to raise some money for them. Anyone who has adopted knows that every penny helps. An invisib...
