Three Scobeys: August 2009
http://threescobeys.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
This entire post is meant to be read in a high-pitched, squealy voice of pure excitement *. Dudes do you know what today is? No You don't. Allow me to enlighten you. This, my friends, is the first day of school. The NINETEENTH. Consecutive first day of school that I have ever had (excluding pre-school. which I also went to). Now. you might read this and, at first glance, think that I am complaining. but let me just assure you right now that I am NOT. You) But I do always. Love the first day. If you ask me.

Three Scobeys: Should I Be Worried?
http://threescobeys.blogspot.com/2010/04/should-i-be-worried.html
Should I Be Worried? Graham has decided that this is a good time to bring up his dissatisfaction with my hair. THIS. A time when there is clearly nothing else going on; nothing else to be concerned about. He's all: "So. umm. is there anything you can do about that frizz? And I'm all "well, I could bludgeon you with the blunt end of a pigeon. that would probably fix the problem.". But then. then I go to give Evie a bath the other day and I find THIS:. Tell me, Mr. Scobey. What need have you for PHEROMONES?

Three Scobeys: Double Digit Oldness
http://threescobeys.blogspot.com/2010/04/double-digit-oldness.html
Evie turned ten-months today. I remember rocking her when she was just a few weeks old, tears streaming down my face as I sang "I love you, more than anything", wishing it were true. willing. It to be true. I remember how painful it was to feel disconnected from my daughter. I never could have imagined that, in just a few short months, all of that pain would seem like a distant memory; that I would never be able to recall loving her with any less than all. April 17, 2010 at 1:15 PM. I mean look at her!

Three Scobeys: Eleven Months
http://threescobeys.blogspot.com/2010/05/eleven-months.html
Evie -loo-who turned 11 months on May 16th. She has changed so much this month; it is all-at-once completely magical and unbelievable. She has gone, in four short weeks, from being a baby to being a little girl. First, there was the walking (I KNOW. People, please keep your hands and. Arms inside the vehicle at all times. we are moving at warp speed), then there were the teeth, and now? Now we are running. As in: "I-want-to-go-from-here-to-there-a-little-faster-so-I'll-just-pick-up-the-pace" running.

Three Scobeys: October 2009

On Using the F-Word. Things have been busy around here. And I dont like busy. I like lazy. If my entire life consisted of getting out of bed solely to shower and use the toilet I would be quite pleased. But things have been busy around here.and I can honestly say it has been the most blissful kind of busy. It's a dizzying dance of kisses, cuddles, and coos.and suddenly I am in love with busy. Solution: Formula. Cover your ears, sensitive readers, because I'm gonna say it again. So we are not the worst.

Attention: I Hate Donuts. Ok You still there? Just give me a chance to defend myself. Donuts are like the imposter dessert. The Milli Vanilli of sweet things. If I wanted to eat bread. I'd eat bread. When I want something sweet, though, I expect something that resulted from the mass murder of many cocoa beans. It's only fair. Someone take me here right now. Actually: yesterday. Take me here YESTERDAY! I want this one. And then I'd like to bath in this one, please. Thanks. Moving. Usually really quick...

Three Scobeys: Where My Mother-Fathers at?
http://threescobeys.blogspot.com/2010/05/where-my-mother-fathers-at.html
Where My Mother-Fathers at? My sister and brother-in-law sent me this video a few night ago. and I laughed so. Friggin' hard. Probably because Graham and I rap as much as humanly possible - about everything from the potty to what kind of curry paste we are using in dinner. Seriously, are you kidding me with this brilliant marketing? Someone must have called and told them what parents 2.0 looked like. because * DUH. Those people are our twins! Ive always been anti-minivan, but that is hilarious! Vote for ...

Three Scobeys: July 2009
http://threescobeys.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
A Blast From the Past. I was riding home from the grocery store yesterday when this song popped into my head. Most of the time I still feel like that little, pre-teen girl who watched this movie over and over again to learn the words: "I'm hot, and you're not.if you wanna hang with me I'll give it one shot! How does life go by so fast? I hope kids now-a-days know that their movies are CRAP compared to the ones we had: Teen Witch.Babysitter's Club.come on. Seen a case of mastitis as virulent as yours....

Three Scobeys: December 2009
http://threescobeys.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Where do I even begin with this? You have been a year of lessons; lessons learned. most of them learned while I was kicking and screaming; bottom lip pressed firmly out into a big, fat pout. It has been a really tough year. Like; didn't-know-if-I-would-make-it-through-with-my-head-still-attached tough. I know that it has been for a lot of people. As it is backbreaking, really, for an entirely selfish person to learn how to be. well. not. Learning how to be a mother implies learning all sorts. Her six mon...
