Its not just a job, its an adventure. March 26, 2008. She Just Had Surgery. Really. I know, I have said it before, but kids are amazing. This week she has been just like normal. Being herself and doing her therapies. We have to keep telling ourselves, and everyone else, that she just had surgery. Isabella saw Dr. Goins today and also went to visit the ocularist to get a new conformer. He is turning into a gaming monster. At least its not World of Warcraft. Yet. We are getting more smiles. Its not just a job, its an adventure. Laquo; December 2004. March 2005 ». January 02, 2005. The lights are down. The trees are disassembled. The red and green swag has been packed away. The toasts have been toasted. The guests have departed. And, to me, it feels so strange that it is done. Then came New Years Eve. We spent the week before planning and preparing. It is our big gathering for the year. We had more food and wine that we could ever finish, but everyone had a great time.
