Good Company: Meet the Teachers
http://ngoodcompany.blogspot.com/2013/08/meet-teachers.html
Sunday, August 25. Friday was our school's "Meet the Teachers.". Gregory and Clare were so excited to head in and see their new classrooms, collect their supplies, and get back in the swing of things. Gregory walked into his classroom and sat down at his desk. He was ready to go. Clare was more excited to see her best friends and catch up after the summer. And Ree was sad because she didn't get to meet and greet anyone. She wants to go to school too. We are settling into our new house nicely, but I haven't quite found a niche for blogging yet. I'm sure it will fall back into place, but here is my first and only post so far for November. Good Company: January 2013
http://ngoodcompany.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 31. Links to this post. Friday, January 25. We're still working with Gregory on reading. It doesn't naturally appeal to him, and he doesn't see it as fun. He'd rather be running outside non-stop playing football, baseball or soccer. He values sports. Part of that (in my opinion) is how much his dad and grandpa enjoy them. So we tried a little experiment where John offers to read with Gregory and makes a big deal of it (like with Redskins games). Links to this post. Links to this post.

Good Company: October 2012
http://ngoodcompany.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 26. It's been a long week filled with fevers, coughs, unpacking, and cleaning. Today the big kids went to the dentist and did very well. No cavities, sealants for Gregory, and vanilla ice cream tooth paste. After Maria's nap we decided to go to a local pumpkinfest at Layng's Flower Farm. I couldn't believe it was less than 10 minutes away. The kids loved the bumpy hayride through the "spooky" woods, which wasn't too spooky at all. Then they went down all the slides. Clare is so far away.
