Monday, June 2, 2008. I walked through the door.I wasn't frisked, a knife wasn't put to my neck, and no one tried to sell me drugs. Coming into the class, I expected a class called Education in the Inner-City to help inform the students about just that, education in inner cities. I expected that the class would take a look at and analyze the practices in urban districts and compare and contrast those practices with those in suburban and rural areas.
