Because of the hot dry weather earlier this summer, the blueberry harvest right around Fairbanks has been disappointing. However, on a scouting expedition up the Steese Highway about a month ago we found a promising hillside. We went back this weekend and found blueberries aplenty! Posted by Ray Bonnell. Didn't find many berries, but the view was fantastic! This panorama is looking southwest. That's our camper at the right edge of the photo.
