Peanut's World: April 2013
http://banesbundleofjoy.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 27, 2013. Splish, Splash, Big Boy Bash. Someone asked me recently if I was resting enough. I wanted to laugh out loud! With an (almost) four-year-old and a newborn? I remember being tired and overwhelmed when Christian was a baby; this is totally different! Would I change anything? We have enrolled Christian in swim classes and he LOVES it! He is a proud member of the starfish class. Here are just a few pictures from the day of his evaluation. Tuesday, April 16, 2013. We Love You, Andrew!

Monday, April 7, 2014. Ready, set, GO! As I write this, it's just five days until our little girl turns. Can you believe it? So since I know that I probably won't make it back to the computer to post an update until after her party on Saturday (and then there's Easter.), I thought you might like to see how things are moving and shaking around here. Video #1: Sliding is fun! Since Emma tries to climb on. Video #2: The Walker. I guess we really do have a. Janet and Kevin Banes. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Peanut's World: September 2013
http://banesbundleofjoy.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 21, 2013. Can it really have been two months since I last updated the blog? Things here are constantly changing. Just when I think I have a grasp on the situation, a child goes through a growth spurt, conquers some developmental milestone, or just "mixes things up" a bit. But it is fun to say the least! He is exhausted when I pick him up; the little stinker does not sleep much at MDO. Soccer has also begun. Daniel played soccer growing up and Christian thought he would give it a t...

Peanut's World: February 2013
http://banesbundleofjoy.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 26, 2013. Christian has become fascinated with my stomach. He randomly comes over to gently rub or pat my tummy. One day, he pressed my belly button and started talking; I am assuming he thought it was a direct line to the baby. What amazes me is the love that is expressed in these little hands. I pray that this continues after the little one is born. Tummy Picture: 32 weeks, 1 day. Monday, February 18, 2013. My Heart Leaps for Joy. Sunday, February 17, 2013. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Peanut's World: Forever Young
http://banesbundleofjoy.blogspot.com/2014/03/forever-young.html
Tuesday, March 18, 2014. I heard this song the other day and it gave words to my heart's prayer for my boys. Andrew is entering toddlerhood and Christian will enter elementary school next year; this momma is not ready for my babies to grow up. As the days, months, and years pass, laughter is heard, tears are wiped, kisses and hugs are given and received, and prayers are lifted up, including this one. May you grow up to be righteous. May you grow up to be true. May you always be courageous.

http://banesbundleofjoy.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 10, 2013. What could I say? I murmured something and his tender spirit knew exactly how to respond. Momma, it is okay. When we get home, I will give you a hug and a kiss. And remember, I will love you forever and always! What healing balm those words were and are to my heart. . I have to realize nobody expects me to be superwoman except me. Would I like to be doing more? Of course I would. However, I need to remind myself to prioritize. Does. The laundry have to be done on a certain day?

Sunday, July 6, 2014. Remember this video from last summer? So this year, I finally got the chance to shoot some video to capture what she's been learning, and. This is what swimming looks like now! Think she's having fun? Emma's also learned in swim class how to crawl out of the pool and jump in from the side from sitting on the side to one of us. Again - no fear, this one. Now, we just need teach her how to keep her mouth shut while doing it all! Janet and Kevin Banes. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
