Through these blue eyes. Monday, September 30, 2013. 30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 5. Today was one of the two days a month we get lunch brought in for our little group at work. Since we work such long hours for the close of the month, my boss is nice enough to pay for us to have lunch. One of our favorite go-to spots is Ruby Tuesday. They manage to get the orders right every time and the food is always delicious. Sunday, September 29, 2013. 30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 4. Saturday, September 28, 2013.

Through these blue eyes. Wednesday, October 16, 2013. 30 Day Challenge - Days 19, 20 and 21. OK, now I don't really have an excuse. I was tired? I had errands to run? I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow? In any case, here are my photos for the last two days and today's :). Day 19 - October 14. Day 20 - October 15. Being in the car is becoming a recurring theme in my pictures. Want to know why? Day 21 - October 16. Most importantly, though, we recognized this momentous milestone in their lives...

Through these blue eyes. Monday, June 27, 2011. Family and Friends - Forever. When I last posted, I was anxiously waiting to get my first jury duty done and over with. Check. The day flew by, but not without some mild anxiety. The case that my pool was being called for was to last for 10 days. I couldn't leave Boscobel for 10 whole days! The following weekend is one that I look forward to every year! This past weekend, my two best friends from school came to town! When they left on Sunday, my high was go...

Through these blue eyes. Tuesday, October 23, 2012. I think I just need to make peace with the fact that I'm too boring to have a daily blog. I think my life's happenings are much more suited to a 6-month-update. So where did we leave off last time? Even with the schedule of a 9-5, there were still some pretty big things that happened in the last 6 months that you might find interesting. Now, this is her at a few months old. She came to work with me! Oh, did I not mention? Congrats John and Courtney!

http://cestlabonnevie.blogspot.com/2010/08/reliving-childhood-dream.html
C'est La Bonne Vie. Tuesday, August 17, 2010. Reliving a childhood dream. Last Friday I got to do something that to me was one of the coolest things I have done for my career yet! For my first story for the Woodbridge Patch. In the end I think the article turned out pretty good, and I will post the link once Patch goes live on Friday. In the meantime, check out some of the pictures from the games last weekend:. 1B Tyler Moore, 23 from Brandon, Mississippi. Leading the Carolina League in HRs and RBIs.

through these blue eyes.: December 2012
http://amandanealen.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Through these blue eyes. Sunday, December 2, 2012. This year, I'm going to try something new for the season. Granted, it is simply because I was never afforded this opportunity until this year, but nevertheless, here it is. I picked up a Little Blue Book at IHM. My NC parish, when I was home over Thanksgiving. I had never seen them at any of the churches I'd been to over the years, so I was curious as to what the piles upon piles of little blue books were that were up for grabs in the lobby. Week In Mark...

Gratitude – Part 1 | Lifelong Learning
https://kathynealen1.wordpress.com/2014/09/26/gratitude-part-1
In pursuit of enrichment. Gratitude – Part 1. Without a doubt the greatest blessings of my life! More rewarding and fun than I could possibly have imagined! Thank you for your childhoods and all the rest (except for those few teenage incidents – you both KNOW what I am talking about ). My family of origin:. My husband’s patient endurance. Of all the events he witnessed with no life experience to guide him in dealing with the actual events or the anxiety and utter despair they inevitably induced in me.

https://kathynealen1.wordpress.com/2012/09/03/my-progress-on-my-new-years-resolutions
In pursuit of enrichment. My Progress on my New Year’s Resolutions. As I reported early this year, I had 24 New Year’s resolutions. I thought that since 2/3 of the year was over, this would be a good time to review my progress on those resolutions. Overall, 8 resolutions are complete; 8 are in progress, 4 have not been started and 4 have been abandoned. I have included details below on the resolutions related to the topic of lifelong learning. I had planned to read Disciplined Dreaming. Fill in your deta...

Through these blue eyes. Thursday, July 25, 2013. I stumbled across a story. Today (" Get real, getting married before age 25 is not too young. That piqued my interest as I will be 25 when I get married next May. This Fox story is in response to a Huffington Post story. Entitled: " Why I Believe Marriage Shouldn't Be Allowed Before Age 25. Please. The government has WAY more important things to do than regulate the marriage age. And honestly, how well do you think that is going to work! Just a guess, but...
