Upon reaching our hotel we checked in with no problems and moved all of our gear up to our room. After our drive we wanted to get out and spin our legs. Sunday, December 21, 2008. Went very well for me this year. I felt like I was on pretty good form leading up to the race. With snow that had melted on the course, everything started to get very muddy which for me, the muddier the better. I felt really good the morning of the race while warming up and was very happy and surprised. To see Clarice and Brandon (girlfriend and good friend) at the race. Friday, October 23, 2009. The Stories of I-70. Country music- Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, George Strait,. Jason Aldean. We are only 3 hours into our ride and Chris Wallace and I have had the honor of listening to these great AMERICAN performers. Chris is loving it. Im trying not to pull my hair out. So far on our trip, we have Skyped with my dad, and and enjoyed Starbucks coffee. Chris is successfully navigating the trucks on our way to STL. Friday, December 25, 2009. After a cancelled flight then many flight delays I finally arrived back in Belgium this past Monday night/Tuesday morning. I was amazed when I arrived to see alot of snow on the ground, something I guess isn't too common in this part of Europe. I've gotten settled in relatively easily here these past few days and have done one race since I've been here. Since then I have been just riding and getting used to life around the house. Tuesday, October 27, 2009. USGP Louisville Day 2. Once of the main course features "The Green Monster". The day started off and I woke up feeling unusually tired. However after breakfast and some much needed caffeine I felt ready for the race that day. The race course had dried up considerably but there were still some muddy patches.
