Is Anyone There?: Where Nobody Knows Your Name.
http://cassam-isanyonethere.blogspot.com/2015/02/where-nobody-knows-your-name.html
My thoughts on family and life! Tuesday, 17 February 2015. Where Nobody Knows Your Name. I'm sure we've all had it happen to us at sometime. You need to pop out to the local shop or supermarket for milk so you put your bare feet into your Uggh boots, throw a jacket on and perhaps a hat to hide your hair that hasn't been washed for a few days. No need to bother with painting your face, just popping out for milk. I can pop out to the co-op for milk and bread in my joggys with no make up, hair not washed an...

Is Anyone There?: Turkey Diaries 2013: You want it?Turkey Has it!
http://cassam-isanyonethere.blogspot.com/2013/11/turkey-diaries-2013.html
My thoughts on family and life! Wednesday, 20 November 2013. Turkey Diaries 2013: You want it? Turkey is a country of contrasts. We were having a rural kind of holiday in Kayakoy but just 15 mins by car and Hisaronu was there with it's bright lights, bars and full English Breakfasts. We don't enjoy that kind of holiday anymore but we quite like to dip in and out of it. Hisaronu by day,we did food shopping here. This English restaurant was always full day and night. Fountains are everywhere in Turkey.

My thoughts on family and life! Monday, 18 May 2015. Moving Diaries- Adventures in Selling and Buying a House. I hope you have all noticed that I have added the word buying to the title at the top. Yes my friends we have finally bought our house and I hope with all my heart it is our forever house as I could not go through it all again anytime soon. So how did we get to this stage? Not without some stress and tears. Hubby could see it's potential, I could see work scrubbing, painting, gardening, spending...

Is Anyone There?: Memories of the 60's & 70's U is for Underwear, UK and Ultravox
http://cassam-isanyonethere.blogspot.com/2012/04/memories-of-60s-70s-u-is-for-underwear.html
My thoughts on family and life! Tuesday, 24 April 2012. Memories of the 60's and 70's U is for Underwear, UK and Ultravox. Next was a full length underskirt, then my normal clothes. The layers of the vest and liberty bodice and underskirt were to keep me warm as I was prone to chest infections. We didn't have central heating just a coal fire so our houses were cold especially trying to get dressed for school in the morning, it was freezing. I was thrilled with it and knew I had become a teenager. I alway...

Is Anyone There?: Fortune Tellers Never Lie!
http://cassam-isanyonethere.blogspot.com/2011/10/fortune-tellers-never-lie.html
My thoughts on family and life! Wednesday, 19 October 2011. Fortune Tellers Never Lie! When I was sixteen I visited a fortune teller on the Central pier in Blackpool. It was my first holiday without my parents. I was with Louise who was my best friend from school. One of the predictions the fortune teller told me and the most important was that I would meet my future husband in Blackpool and the next time I visited would be with him. By the second week we had ran out of money for food and Louise's aunt m...

My thoughts on family and life! Wednesday, 26 November 2014. Moving Diaries : Disappointments and Solictitors. I'm sorry I have been away from my blog for so long and for leaving you on a cliffhanger on my last post. I will tell you why in this post. Great disappointment all round and both houses had to go back on the market. Over the next eleven weeks we were given a moving date by the solicitor of the same buyers four times and each time it fell through. This turned out to be one of the worst infection...

Is Anyone There?: C is For Clouds.
http://cassam-isanyonethere.blogspot.com/2012/04/c-is-for-clouds.html
My thoughts on family and life! Tuesday, 3 April 2012. C is For Clouds. No, wrong clouds! Clouds with the glitter ball and the ultraviolet lights. Clouds was above the Apollo which was a venue for all the great bands of the seventies, Simple minds, Paul McCartney, Elton John all played there. Upstairs in Clouds I swooned to the sounds of Salvation who later became Slik and the famous Midge Ure was their lead singer. 3 April 2012 at 09:52. So funny that you went all the way to Blackpool to meet your hubby.

My thoughts on family and life! Monday, 29 September 2014. Moving Diaries- Adventures in Selling a House -The Viewers. You will like some of your viewers and the visit will go smoothly. You will dislike some and every personal question they ask you and every time they cast their eyes around your bedroom and look your room up and down will get your hackles up. I had had enough of leaving my home and wandering the streets so I said I would do future viewings by myself. I'm tired and fed up, I feel my home ...
