Hello, This is a travelogue/trip report on a visit to Gaganachukki Falls and Shivanasamudram Power Station Township on the 18th of June 2013. The trip started by going down NH 209 / Kanakapura Road. Now this road has a lot of tourist attractions to see as you drive along it and the Karnataka Tourism Board provides enough encouragement :-). Pigeons near the falls. The water pool at the bottom.

The train was headed by a WDM 3a locomotive for those who are interested and it left on time and made its way to Yeshwanthpur. The train which was sparsely occupied got filled here. The train crossed the Ahmedabad AC train by moving through the loop line near Gubbi. At this time bought Masala Dosa Vada from the onboard catering staff. Arrived Arsikere at 845am. Fields of black soil.
