https://amyhargraveblog.wordpress.com/2015/10/23/procrasta-baking-chocolate-chunk-cookies/comment-page-1
Travel Fitness Health Wellbeing. Procrasta-baking: Chocolate Chunk Cookies. October 23, 2015. Today I had ambitiously planned an entire afternoon dedicated to studying for Uni. I managed to set myself up at my desk with my notes and laptop at the ready, but couldn’t bring myself to do any work. After staring blankly at my laptop for a good 10 minuets I took to the kitchen instead. Mixed some dark chocolate chips into the cookie dough – which looked so delicious when melted. 2 tablespoons maple syrup.

Travel Fitness Health Wellbeing. Channelling the 70’s vibe. October 21, 2015. October 22, 2015. Usually I’m not one for dressing up, but a visit to the Opera house to see the play “Anything Goes” called for some more sophisticated attire than my usual Nikes. Picked up this striped turtle neck top and Cordoroy skirt from Topshop. I love the earthy tones, and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen photos of my mum from the 70’s wearing something very similar…. Looking very tourist in Sydney’s Circular Quay. On Wanderin...

Travel Fitness Health Wellbeing. Baked Blackberry oats for Breakfast. September 8, 2015. I’ve been wanting to try making baked oats for brekky for a while, but I usually wake up soo hungry that I can’t wait for them to cook. So this morning I decided to wake up early and pop my oats in the oven. I’m absolutely swamped with uni work at the moment so while I waited for my slow-cooked brekky I got to work on writing an essay. 1 cup coconut milk or almond milk. 1 teaspoon vanilla essence. Notify me of new co...

July 16, 2015. August 17, 2015. In my most travels where I was volunteering in Lesotho (a land locked country within South Africa), I visited the Maletsunyane Falls at Semonkong. One of the highest single dropping waterfalls in Africa at 200 meters! This picture was taken just before we decided to climb down to the bottom of it. Creativity within Basotho Children. July 19, 2015. Lesotho is known for its mountainous landscape and being completely landlocked by South Africa. I was here for 3 months volunteering and it was one of the best experiences of my life! Definitely recommend a visit. Here I am looking over the beautiful capital of Lesotho, Maseru. The lowest point in The Mountain Kingdom is over 1000 metres above sea level, this makes Lesotho the highest country on the planet! Creativity within Basotho Children. July 16, 2015. October 5, 2015. August 17, 2015. August 17, 2015. At the moment I am in training for The New Forest 5k in September and I have been running round the sea wall near where I live, sometimes I forget just how beautiful England can be. This picture was taken last night on my evening run just as the sun was setting over the marshes. As much as I do love England I have booked my tickets for my next trip beginning in October! The nightmare of packing. This time last year…. On The Mother City. On This time last year….

Creativity within Basotho Children. July 16, 2015. October 5, 2015. A young boy just finishing school had made a windmill out of paper and a thin stick. Almost everyday for 12 weeks my team and I would go to different schools and teach the children life skills through sport and games. Above is a picture of one of my favourite school, Liraheheleng where the children are singing a dancing rhyme. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. January 6, 2016. January 6, 2016. So we’ve arrived in South Africa after two long flights from Gatwick, London! When I say we I mean my friend Rhea and I).
