Went out for my second short track race this year. I moved up one place! This time I was pretty warm. I think I need to do a little more high intensity in my warm ups because I didn't feel "great" until about lap 3 (20 minutes into the race). My sister comes to all my races (best cheerleader ever! World Peas and Carrots.

The past few years our 4th of July celebration has been watching fireworks on tv and listening to the booms of local fireworks displays and hisses of bottle rockets going off in the neighborhood. Surviving my first mini enduro. After 8 laps my time was up and I clocked in at 5:20ish. 1st place woman, and top 10 for the men. Not bad. Random adventures and thoughts. Tuesday, May 27, 2008. I'm not much of a city gal, but I did enjoy my scenic urban adventures this past weekend. Did a double - and I think the next double I do will either be an espresso or a mixed drink. Ouch.
