Friday, November 27, 2009. Step away from the Pie! It's the day after Thanksgiving and the leftovers are calling, especially the yummy pies! We were sent home with a pecan pie. After making my way through a fourth of the pecan pie, on my own! I took control of the situation and tossed the pie out. Now I know what you are thinking, wasting a perfectly good pie like that? For her Valentine we went to our party favor stand by, Oriental Trading Co., and bought pop frogs and a roll of heart stickers. Filling clear plastic candy bags with the items, and then sealing them with a printed folded card and a staple we have a Valentine ready to hand out to her pals. Here is the completed Valentine.
