There are a lot of beautiful scenery near and around Raufarhöfn and The Arctic Henge. For example there is a nice route walking to Hraunhafnartangi. Hraunhafnartangi is the second northernmost point in Iceland. There is a parking lot at the lake and then a path to walk out on to the promontory.
