Ruth's challenge for yesterday was diptych or something to that effect, which I just called dipstick because I couldn't remember it for the life of me. Ruth's challenge of The End/Final for yesterday, our last day, had me kind of flumoxed. I took a shot of my book with the bookmark near the end, but meh, took a shot of a stack of files about to be picked up by a client, again meh, so like Ruth, I wound up in the garden. I took a wet, wilted peony (sp? Slumped down on the ground, but I liked this shot a little better:.

Sunday, December 27, 2009. Ruth gave us the challenge today and it was 'silver'. so i went around the house and took everything i could find that was silver, and chose the first photo i took of my pandora barcelet on my bureau. i love that it reflects on the black, so it could have been one for that 'reflection' challenge last weekend too. nathalie took this cute little ornament. Friday, March 27, 2009. On to August favourites. Surprise surprise it's a flower picture! Well more of a weed than a flower! I'm sure it's my favourite for the memory of the photo more than the image it's self,if than makes any sense.I took it on an early morning walk,everything was still covered in dew and it was so peaceful. Of course there were other contenders this month too,mostly from the labour day weekend we spent with our friends at their cottage. Back after the weekend with number 9. Love those...

Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Days 26 and 27. The weekend and 2 challenges. Saturday was Nathalie's challenge of 'aftermath'. It wasn't until Nic and I had finished washing up all the stuff from the little party we had that I remembered the challenge. Luckily these were on the side. A collection of wine and beer bottles from the evening :). Sunday was my challenge of 'Silver'. I had plans to take my Pandora bracelet but that didn't work out and then I couldn't find anywhere to lay out my new bracelet.
