I was so nervous the night before my first day of work, I didn't sleep very well so I'm glad things turned out ok. A quick summary of how the new job is going:. On my first day of work, I wore my new favorite scrubs in attempt to "dress to impress" - light blue top and navy blue bottoms (yes, blue is my favorite color). It felt like dressing up for the first day of school! This never happens for a RN!

Ashley * * *. Tuesday, December 14, 2010. My new job technically started yesterday on Monday, Dec. 13th with a two-day hospital orientation. Hospital orientation went pretty well; it was mostly a brief review of nursing school concepts for me. We covered topics such as cultural competence, conflict management, how to deescalate a dangerous situation, self-care, etc. All the usual suspects. I will start training on the 4D Trauma Unit on Thursday, Dec. 16th. Scary! December 15, 2010 at 1:31 AM.

Although there are so many, many, many more payments remaining that thinking about it makes my head spin, I've got the first one down so I am one step closer to being free of debt! My Life Using Plan B. Well its almost summer again =). So i have been on a extended-ly long vacation from Typepad. I update typepad in. Get Croppin' had its first and last extremely large event in February. We hosted close to 1000 attendees and it was entirely to big. I can't even stay that I enjoyed it to much because I was overwhelmed. With seven instructors, people attending just the crop, people attending classes, people attending both the crop and classes. Monday, April 6, 2009. What a Wonderful Weekend. Well it was one of those amazing Oregon weekends. It started out on Saturday.Eric, Tyson and I went to a Pug Meet Up. What is that you may ask? Then it was time to celebrate Ed's birthday. So we spent the evening doing all things Ed. We watched the Basketball game at a bar, Eric and Ed played a little online poker, then we went to Jimmy Mac's to listen to music. It was a great night! Tyson waiting for Eric to come back inside.
