Thursday, June 30, 2005. And we're back =(. I miss Taiwan and my TAKOBALLS already! TW's definitely more interesting than HK! HK is literally another singapore and i wasnt impressed at all. Taiwan is so much fun! Although the streets are quite dirty/old and everything seems disorganized, but i think that's wat make it so much more interesting. It really take damn good driving skills to be able to drive in Taiwan, lotsa scooters and cars changing lanes with no warning. woah! And yes left hand driving.

When sobering up is the party. Everytime i think things are looking up, life reminds me that i cannot possibly be in control. Work isn’t going swell. as the studio grows, trouble makers have started spreading rumours causing unnecessary dissent to be seeded in the team. I love my job but am not really feeling the love in return. but its only been 7 months. feels like forever. don’t really know what to expect anymore. Need to not lose myself at work. But still. need the work. Different thoughts used to ru...

Where were the sirens? Of montreal and singapore. March 15, 2009. Of Montreal was hilarious, game, and awesome today at library@esplanade. They straight up played Beware Our Nubile Miscreants, Heimdalsgate Like A Promethean Curse after a quick absurd interview session which left Jack and Rai pretty much speechless, and ended the whole thing with The Party’s Crashing Us Now after sportingly attempting to sing Chan Mali Chan. Dude, what? But that was a pretty hilarious segment as well. Feed for this Entry.

June 8, 2009. Truth is – I thought I’d write this post maybe 1 or 2 months ago. And while those 1 or 2 months disappeared by me, I thought it would be somewhat redundant soon to mention the financial crisis. But in the strange contained and open financial ecosystem of this sunny island, the lack of everyman concern regarding the crisis makes it even more mentionable. Really, what crisis? Because that’s what was used to catch the drippings. Actually, a slab of roast pork like this is quite gruesome to me&...

Cambodia Jotter | jimmy jammies

November 22, 2009. I brought along a small notebook with me to Cambodia to write down various things – sights I wanted to see, things I bought and their costs, thoughts, etc. It got pretty ravaged by my constant digging for it in my pocket and consultation in rain, wind, drunkenness, this, that. Before I go to Taiwan and and before I get carried away by a sudden mania for buying atomisers, I thought I’d put up some stuff from in the notebook here. Siem Reap Temple Trail (in chronology). You are commentin...
