No one seems to have an answer that tells me what it really is or is supposed to be. So as I sit with this computer beside my window in Phoenix, I'm still wondering. Tuesday, March 10, 2009. Did you know that the theme for a 35th wedding anniversary is CORAL? All of that is to say that the thoughtfulness of finding out the right theme, matching the flowers to the theme, writing a sweet love note in the card, finding a card of the beach and so on shows effort. And that's all most women want. We want to know someone thought of us. A lot. We want to know someone made an effort on our behalf. It's not about extravagance. That's funny. I would not have know that.

Sunday, June 15, 2008. The Happiest Sad Day. Our family just climbed out of the pool after a day of grilling out and relaxing together. Seeing my husband play in the water with his darling grandson was such a blessing this year. Our baby boy has blessed us all and this first Father's Day for my son-in-love was wonderful to observe. Or teaching me how to sing, he was diligent and patient and ever the teacher. He never let a teachable moment slip through his hands. I'm not mediocre, Dad. Thanks.

May the God of HOPE fill you with all joy and peace as you TRUST in Him. God desires for us to have joy and peace, but that is only found in Him. Not in our circumstance, husband, children, friends, house, etc. This is what separates us from the world. Our hope, joy and peace are in our Father, our Heavenly Father. That just excites me today.hope it does you as well.
