How did I get the idea:. I got the idea when my father died. I thought as humans we go through so much pain and misery, surely life should be better than this. If I get my time in front of God after I die then I'll have a few words to say to him. I'd also read a lot of books that were supposed to be inspirational, but to me they just fell flat. I wanted to write a book that could be inspirational but with heart, soul, honesty and spirit, plus a sprinkling of humour because laughter is good for us.

About the author: Lee Brown. Where was I born:. Born in the 20th century. Had a very happy childhood on a council estate within Newcastle upon Tyne called Blakelaw. After university I moved to London for a few years. Worked at The Times and in the city. What about the writing:. When I lived in Newcastle I did night classes for 'Writing for television, theatre and radio' this is where I found how much I enjoyed people reading what I wrote. Plans for another book:.

Anything which tells a story:. I was brought up reading Marvel and DC comics, from there I found a love for television and movies then books and theatre. I think I started writing my own stories way before I read my first novel. When I was about 12 years old I wrote my own Superman story, the next was a story about the Arabian Knights. I'm glad comedy has hit the heights that it has recently as there are so many great comedians out there at the moment.
