A Year Around Australia. Thursday, June 27, 2013. After two days of driving with an overnight in between we arrived in the beautiful Karijni National Park. At our overnight stop, discovering the red dirt. We have arrived in Dingo country and signs warning about keeping constantantly supervising children was a little unnerving but we haven't seen a one, to my disappointment, but it did make me a little nervous about going for a run by myself! Would've been a beautiful place to cool off after a hot walk.

A Year Around Australia. Thursday, June 20, 2013. Cape Range National Park. Kurrajong is a nice spot, behind the sand dunes with tables perfect for watching whales or seeing the sun go down. We knew our friends Jodie, Harald and the girls might be here and the Camp Host tracked them down for me and I met up with them as they were reliving their day of whale shark swimming. A Year Around Australia. Monday, June 10, 2013. Only an hour from Carnarvon, it was a great spot, lots of fishing shacks owned by locals and camp spots stretching along the sand dunes. It was so peaceful, i think we could've stayed a lot longer. Our only connection to the outside world, was unreliable mobile reception at the lighthouse, we had to make a few blustery phone calls from up there, and Kev went a couple of times to do some work.
