A Year at Kew. This past Sunday Geoff (the musician who lives in the flat above me) and I hiked through Firston. Woods and along the cliff to beachy. Head Thanks Angela for the map to this area. The cliffs here are quite spectacular, even at low tide. One had to use caution however when getting close. To the edge as in this fairly remote section their are no barriers. To get to the cliffs you had to walk through acres of sheep pasture. A typical Downs farm. In full bloom in Firston. If you look closely.

A Year at Kew. Gwithian lighthouse, nowdays automatic as all lighthouses are in England. You can see grey seals (endangered species) on the beach, they come here every year to bathe, rest and calve since they cannot be disturbed as the beach is impossible to get to. A Year at Kew. On Thursday W akehurst. Sold off some of their surplus plants to employees, I could not resist although most will be going down to Cornwall for my aunts gardens. I wonder what was going through the Dean's mind yesterday when my fellow P1's were drinking champagne in class before his presentation on the grading system. My guess: "Only at INSEAD."
