This year for Mother's Day I ran the Title 9k. Race at the Boulder Reservoir. It was great fun and I did fairly well considering that I had not put on my running shoes for running in close to a year. Ben bought Caitlin a stuffed animal we named Jelly Cat. Last night Caitlin went to bed with Jelly Cat. When I went to check on her before going to bed, Caitlin was laying on her back with Jelly cat resting on top of her. As I tried to move Jelly Cat away from her face, Caitlin sleepily opened her eyes and grabbed Jelly Cat back and hugged her. Very cute. Thanks for the cute sun hats Nonna! We went to the Reston Zoo today to feed sheep and goats. Caitlin loves playing with her animals, especially the monkey. Playing in the Grass. Our friends, Steve, Brin and Maeve, came for a visit and we all drove down to Lexington, VA to visit the McCabe family. Chloe, Caitlin and Maeve hanging out on the couch. Chloe enjoying a celebratory cupcake after Washington and Lee lacrosse game in Lexington. Ben, Steve and Gene. Chloe loves to snuggle with her baby sister and give her kisses. Playing in the Grass.

Lots of ice under the dock and along the shores. in fact, the Chesapeake froze more this year than it has in a long time! Fitz loves driving the tractor and helping with outdoor projects. Mama and Daddy went to a Gala for the Chorus. The boys had their 9 and 7 year old check ups - thumb war to decide who goes first. We are so grateful for our pediatrician! G K and Family. Thursday, May 07, 2015. Girls on the Run 5K. We had good friends running the Girls on the Run 5K. So we joined them! The whole family ran, and we all had a great time! Fitz was so excited for it to start and he kept near the front of the pack for the entire course. Stuart hadn't planned on running, but he wanted to once we arrived.
