http://whenadamdelvedandevespan.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
When Adam delved and Eve span. Spinning, knitting and other fibrous material. Monday, 19 January 2009. At my grand-daughter's birthday party on December 22nd, I discovered to my horror (but my DIL's evident relief) that her due date was to be brought forward and grandchild No 3 would be putting in an appearance at the end of this week. January 23rd to be precise. Horror because I thought I had a whole other month to knit the circular shawl I had planned. The very next day I made a start on Mandala. Thank...

I decided to buy this one after trying one at the spinning weekend I went on at the end of January. The one I tried was a double drive with a Woolee Winder. Which I would love to buy sometime). I bought my wheel unfinished and used a medium oak coloured Danish oil to protect the wood. Sunday, March 01, 2009. 1 March 2009 at 20:25. View my com...

Woolydoodles Knits: September 2007
http://woolydoodlesknits.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 30, 2007. Not much of a week. I've been off work all week. It's a throat infection that has been the culprit. Unlike most people that work thro' such illnesses I can't :(. I'm now feeling less shivery and achy thank goodness, and I've been able to get on with my secret knitting(when I've felt upto it), so I'm hopefully on the home straight with that now. I think Audrey and myself need to do some spinning this afternoon as we have neglected each other a bit recently. I'm here, honest!

Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Do you knit, crochet, or both? I am primarily a knitter altho' I can crochet I'm not very good at it(despite having books on the subject! What do you like to make? At the mo I'm taking part in a lot of lace KAL's, I enjoy doing them but they are usually destined as gifts as I'm not a big shawl wearer. Other than that I enjoy socks, gloves, garments etc. Anything really that holds my interest! Do you have a favourite project? Anything with natural fibres. Not sure really, I do...
