Musings from the McGaughey family! Thursday, February 5, 2015. Nora is 2 years old! We went to see Dr. Garza today for her 2 year check up. She's perfect! Weight: 34 pounds (99%). Height: 35 inches (78%). Head: 20 inches ( 99%). So basically she's still a big girl.more like a 2-1/2 year old based on her size! She is meeting all of her developmental milestones too. She folds her arms across her chest and makes a pouty face and tells me "NO! And she means it! There are days when I want to run screaming out the door to have a moment of peace. Musings from the McGaughey family! Monday, November 17, 2014. Why did we want her to talk? Since the moment Nora was born, we were anxiously awaiting her first words. Would it be mama or dada? When would she start talking? We were excited for those first words to come so we would be able to understand what she wanted and so her little personality could shine out! Then she started talking.and with the talking came the personality. This little lady is a stubborn little shit, like her mama. You get the idea.

Musings from the McGaughey family! Sunday, August 9, 2015. My stepdad was here visiting last week and the kiddos had a blast with "crampa." On the last day he was here we took the kids to the Austin Zoo, and Eric and Allison came along as well. Allison is going to start volunteering there soon, so she had a lot to tell us about the zoo. The Austin Zoo. Amelia loved the zoo right away because we saw a peacock as soon as we walked in. Birdie! These kids are so freakin' cute! Me and my little clone :).

Thursday, March 14, 2013. Mimi's new sweet baby arrived yesterday! She was born 3/13/13 at 12:20pm, weighing 8 pounds 14.7 ounces and 22 1/2 inches in length. She has a ton of dark hair (similar to Logan's when he was born) but she did not get his beautiful eyelashes :( She has taken well to breastfeeding and overall is doing great! Shawn and I are so excited to be Auntie and Uncle again! Shawn's looking forward to our next baby already so he can form his swimming relay team with the kiddos!

Loves to mimic faces, laughs, sounds and gestures. Loves veggies and fruit, even broccoli! Is terrified of animals, so sad. Is not too interested in learning to walk. I have started having round ligament pain which comes when your uterus grows. But I would much rather have that than morning sickness :) Next appointment is on Feb 25th.
