Ramblings around Singapore and the US! Tuesday, October 7, 2014. Simian and I went with E, HJ and their son, E, to see the Wings of Freedom Tour. It was really fun - I got to climb into the body of the B17 Bomber and walk/crouch inside. You have to wonder how people flew in these airplanes. They also had people bringing their collections of World War 2 Memorabilia. That was just as fascinating. I got to carry a few World War Two guns - and some of them were really heavy. Ramblings around Singapore and the US! Monday, April 21, 2014. My cousins came to visit in Baltimore, and we took the opportunity to go visit S's family's farm. S's farm was super fun - there were animals all over the place and I even got to sit on a horse, while S led me carefully around :). Barnacle Historic State Park. Our friend, O, took us to Barnacle Historic State Park. It was a lovely little oasis in the middle of bustling Coconut Grove. There is even a little mangrove clump along the bay.

Ramblings around Singapore and the US! Thursday, January 2, 2014. My cousin, D and his wife, S, came to visit in Baltimore when we were there. We took them out for one packed afternoon of Charm City fun. We went to Tutti Gusti. And to Fort McHenry. A walk through Hampde. N and to Mount Vernon Square. We ended the night at Brewer's Art. Ramblings around Singapore and the US! Wednesday, August 14, 2013. We had lunch at Artichoke Cafe. With new friends (and friends of friends), H and T, who recently moved here from the US. They were the ones who suggested the place though. I was glad that for a change, we had a brunch menu that didn't have just Eggs Benedict! They had a nice bunch of vegetables and fruit growing in their garden. They mentioned Edible Gardens. Which has children sized portions! Birthday Lunch at Spruce.

Ramblings around Singapore and the US! Sunday, February 24, 2013. We went to buy some party supplies today and ended up parking at Bugis. As it was the closest place with available parking. Simian and I shared a gelato at Gelateria Italia. Note the tiny cup. This was a medium. The ice cream was pretty good but it was way too expensive for what you got. I could have inhaled the small cup by breathing it in. The stores in mall seemed to have been named by twelve year olds. Saturday, February 23, 2013.
