http://thebigtwelvemonther.blogspot.com/2010/12/swanning-around.html

Phew! I’ll be here several days before the big push into the city. This will be Amb...

The Big Twelve Monther....: Guildford
http://thebigtwelvemonther.blogspot.com/2010/12/guildford.html
Tuesday, 28 December 2010. This can be seen with original pubs and hotels, general stores and the fact that many brickmakers, builders, carpenters and blacksmiths flocked to the colony in the early years. The symbols on the original Town of Guildford crest – an anchor, a sheaf of wheat and a bunch of grapes – clearly reflect this role as a connecting point between agricultural production and transport on to the wider world. Many houses still reflect the boom years of the gold rush in WA around the late 1...

The Big Twelve Monther....: October 2010
http://thebigtwelvemonther.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 26 October 2010. For $20pn unpowered I had a generator-free area all to myself, access to hot-ish showers but importantly a short walk down to the beautiful beach. I tried to get into the fishing spirit but the line tangled and left me feeling pretty rubbish. I settled into making sandcastles instead until the sun started to set. 8216;L’ day. The final day in Broome also saw the arrival of titles beginning with L on the iPod. It’s amazing how quick these fly past :). Having to change Amber’...
