Becky Seamster Dance Studio. Pre-Dance – Beginning 3. Dancers must be at least Level 3 dancers. Basic requirements are clean single pirouettes, pique turns, good spotting, reasonably good flexibility, sense of timing and rhythm, all basic tap skills (including wings), and overall good technique and understanding of body placement. If a competition is the same weekend as prom, how will I feel? Can I really participate at comp with high energy or will I be dwelling on the fact that I had to miss prom – or worse yet, will I refuse to go to comp so I can go to prom? If so, then you should not be on comp team. If they answer is track, then you should do track & not. Be on comp team.

Plies in 4th position. Develope to 2nd position only. Pas de bourree turn. Improved technique and placement on all previously learned movements. Balance and proper alignment in 5th position releve.
