Befriend at the End. Friendship, concern and information at life’s end. Befriend at the End (BATE) evolved from Friends at the End. During the run up to the Assisted Suicide (Scotland) Bill, it became apparent it was important for FATE not to be closely associated with anything those opposed to the Bill might possibly use against us, such as making our. We are called to slow down and see the world more deeply, to plunge ourselves fully into its heart, and to reveal what we discover. For this reason, we created the Community for Deepening Practice (CDP). The CDP is a vibrant and enriching MSC Graduates' program offered in conjunction with the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion. Because this is a graduates’ course, the CDP will not explicitly just reteach MSC.
