We were fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to explore the Middle East- toured Jordan a bit and then headed to Palestine- after spending a few days in Jerusalem, we went to live in the West Bank and experience for ourselves the effect of the Wall on Palestinian life. The fence is no difference from the Wall in terms of restrictions of movement but the slight and barely, if even, consolation is that it is not as big and ugly.
