Saturday, May 5, 2012. We had a nice quiet Easter this year. It was interesting trying to put the focus on the Resurrection instead of the Easter Bunny, but hopefully the girls got an okay mix of both. The Easter Bunny woke up at six in the morning to put together this play house for the girls before they woke up. What a good Easter Bunny. Mommy stayed nice and warm and slept in. Easter Dresses. Poor Mia didn't get to wear her gloves to church. She had to stay home sick with me. Better late than never!

Monday, January 23, 2012. Once there was a SnowWoman! We finally had some snow here and since I'm a crappy mom and I don't play in the snow with my kids- my Mom took the girls to make snow WOMEN! Gotta love the tea hat and feather boa. Didn't pack boots for the kids either, so again my Mom had to improvise. Grandpa took some Sunday pictures of the girls:. Yes, my kids are at a stage where they like to "pose". Snow women are already almost melted! I LOVE this winter! And it's time to wash my car, AGAIN.

Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Here's another catchup blog. March was full of birthdays in the family. We started with Daddy's, who turned 29. Ages of the characters in this blog have been edited for the writer's safety). The girls and I made him a special basket ball birthday cake. um, this is supposed to be a basketball okay. Look, I'm not athletic- the closest I came to basketballs in my youth was getting hit in the head with them at gym class - which I loathed). Then we celebrated Mia's Second Birthday!

Thursday, May 26, 2011. The Happiest Place on Earth! So so so fun! This trip was all about the characters. Mia LOVED meeting anything big and fuzzy. or wearing a princess dress, (or both). I know this is A LOT of pictures, but I'm cutting out at least 17 other characters that we met! Spent the extra money to eat with the Princesses! The girls had died and gone to heaven! Friday, April 4, 2014. Easter is on it's way and to make my house a little more festive I made some prints on my iPad. I printed them off my printer on recycled paper and framed them in a dollar store frame. We're talking budget here people! Thought I'd share the love! If you are fancier than me and print them from a photo store like Costco or Walmart- be sure to edit and adjust them prior to ordering because they are an odd size and will automatically get cropped. Saturday, December 17, 2011. Yes It's official. We have a new baby cousin! Little Kori Lynn was born to my Sister Manda on Nov. 9th. She weighed 7lbs 1 oz!
