April 27, 2009} YAL Conference 2009. I found the 2009 Annual Conference of Literature for Children and Young Adults to be quite enjoyable. I especially enjoyed listening to Laurie Halse Anderson. During the breakout sessions, I attended Stephen Hagin’s. Music Lyrics and Young Adult Text. Overall, I feel the Conference was a great success and very informative. It offered a variety of things to do in order to assist new and seasoned teachers with ideas to incorporate into their classrooms.
