Many students were unable to get up the hill to campus, while those who did had to walk much of the way because the traffic was backed up due to accidents and cars that couldn’t make the climb. Wednesday, February 3, 2010. After Grandma and Grandpa left, Dad and I wandered around, shopping and catching up while Mom attended some big shot board meetings and finished off a proposal that she was pushing the deadline on. One afternoon was spent driving around the lake and getting a good lay of the land. It would have been nicer from the pontoon boat but the weather was still a little chilly at 50 degrees. The first day was spent wandering around NYC to the Statue of Liberty and a little shopping.

Wednesday, January 21, 2009. This Christmas was much more relaxed than last year. I flew to Michigan a week before Christmas and had time to catch up with friends and hang out with my mom and dad for a while before heading off to Medina for the holiday celebrations.
