Naomi 3 Months Old. This cute little babe is already 3 months old! She talks non-stop, takes a few great naps during the day, and sleeps like a champ at night. Like, she sleeps through the night. Lately we've been having a few visitors stay at our house. Some of our recent visitors included the Harper Family, who we absolutely love. Occasionally, when they come to Utah we get to meet up and have dinner or a short visit, but other times they stay with us and we get to wear lots of princess shoes, have backyard BBQ's, and stay up way past our bedtimes playing games. Monday, November 5, 2012. It's Been So Long. Celebrated my 22nd Birthday. Went to the Bountiful 24th of July parade where Bennett marched as one of the 2,000 stripling warriors. We went to our annual Child family reunion in Sun Valley. Truly our favorite vacation spot. Poor Bennett got a little sick on the trip. And we enjoyed the rest of the summer by doing all those summery things that people do: picnics, weddings, parties, ice cream outings, etc. Alex's graduation from BYU. Rode the Alpine Slide.

Monday, June 8, 2009. Why Duck and Cover in the Basement When You Can Chase It? This tornado was close. (Pictures from our deck). This is yesterday's tornado that went through our area and touched down at Southlands Mall. We watched the storm cell move in, saw the funnel cloud form, and watched the tornado as it went by. We got high winds, close to baseball-sized hail, and unbeleivable skies to watch. Thank goodness it's path wasn't 2 miles south of where it went! Posted by mitch, pam and the rhoadants.

My eyes were tired, the pain in my body still present from a her being taken by cesarean just seven short days ago. There she lay, nursing so intently and so warm in my arms. I looked at her as she smiled slightly, so peaceful and sweet. Then my thoughts turned to Gabrielle. One just as amazing and beautiful as the next.
