Dragonfly Gypsy: February 2011
http://dragonflyquilting.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 11, 2011. HOW LUCKY WERE WE! What an unbelievable quilt of Janet's. It is a Kim McLean pattern. It was lovely to finally meet Janet from Quiltsalott. This is Cathy from Cabbage Quilts. And it was great to finally meet her. I was very disappointed last year I missed out on meeting her when she called into Material Obsession as I was on the Queen Vic trip. My Group told me how lovely she was and now I know too. Cathy's beautiful Mosaic Quilt and lucky her look who she is under it with.

Monday, September 13, 2010. DENMARK and SOME QUILTING. We found this Quilt Shop in Copenhagen. It was huge inside with loads of fabric. Kaffes were on sale but I decided as this was the beginning of the trip I better be careful! This is what I bought. We went on a Canal trip. Surprise for Hubby who thought I was sitting behind him! These swans and babies were beautiful. Us outside Amalienborg Palace. We went through Princess Mary's home as they were. Not very close up but this field was full of geese....

Sew Miriam is a blog following the creative endeavours of a keen sewer. It is a place where stitching, fabric, design, colour and life collide. Friday, 29 May 2015. Life has a habit of getting in the way of uninterrupted sewing time! Why then is it so hard to prioritize this time? I don't know why, as I continue to feel the need to justify myself when I set aside time to sew. It is always the first thing to get shelved. I imagine that I am not alone in this. Do you struggle with this dilemma too? Take th...

How exciting to be a part of something so rare and special. Congratulation to Marg, Jean, Liz and all the team at Quilts in the Barn. Monday, March 29, 2010. She was keeping a tour journal and I looked at what she was sketching and what her and I were looking at and it was the same. All done within a few minutes! I have some prints of her journal sketches that I will show at a later date but thought I would show you her quilts and paintings. When my beloved Father Ron died she just knocked on my door one day with a beautiful Kokeshi Doll painting because she knows I love them (so does she too! Thats Sue on the right). Hi Everyone, This...

Sew Miriam is a blog following the creative endeavours of a keen sewer. It is a place where stitching, fabric, design, colour and life collide. Friday, 31 July 2015. Wouldn't it be fabulous to have the luxury of unlimited time? I would love to have unlimited time to read, create, relax, hand stitch and enjoy sewing with friends. In the real world of course this is not always possible. Like octopus tentacles we have life demands pulling us in many directions all at the same time. If you want to learn to m...
