I said my goodbyes that afternoon and set off on my all expenses paid trip to Koh Samui. It was a long and boring journey which gave me plenty of time to contemplate my own mortality. I did think it was a really short journey until I realised I’d got off at Kho Pha-ngan… Luckily I was one of the first off so I had time to realise before the boat left again! She’s a keeper.
