Knittin' Mom: June 2006
http://knittinmom.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 30, 2006. So much knitting, so little time. Yesterday, I get an e-mail from the acquisitions editor. The publisher has finally gotten off their butts and finalized the designs that are going into the books (mine are all still on), and the new deadline is mid-July. Yes, you read that right - I have until mid-July to do two pairs of socks and two gifts. Today is June 30. There is no sign of my yarn. Hmm. Is right up the street from the train station. In fact, they have a sign out on their ...

Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Getting off the Ground. I have taken better pics of my handwoven scarves. I think this shows them off just a bit better. The other pics were taken with my iPhone camera, and while it's good, sometimes it doesn't show things off in the best light. This will be a bit picture heavy). This is the two scarves together. The green one is approximately 80 inches long, not including the fringe, which is about 6 inches long on each end. And that sped things up quite a bit! I Effed an O a...

http://knitsteph.blogspot.com/2012/06/trying-this-here-blogging-thing-again.html
Friday, June 15, 2012. Trying this here blogging thing again. I've not blogged in ages, and I lost my domain so I thought I'd try back here again. It just felt like sometimes I was talking to thin air, so I just quit. I have a lot of things going on and I'd like to write about them, if I can' summon up the time. I still knit (sometimes), weave (not often enough) and sew (not as much as I want). So, here I am! I sat down last night with no pattern and whipped up this skirt. KnitSteph on Rav/LSG .

Saturday, May 29, 2004. I just got back from Goodwill. They had a 99 cent sale today. I found four sweaters that I can recycle the yarn! Two tanks. The beige one is a cotton/ramie blend and the blue one is 100% cotton. The color didn't turn out in this one.its more of a grapey purple. Big baggy sweater. I'm thinking this might work for the Cable Tee. The label with the yarn content is gone though. (it feels like an acrylic/wool blend though). I got all of this for $4 plust tax! Friday, May 28, 2004.
